Configuration

Version 3.0.0 introduces a clean, modular configuration split into three dedicated files for maximum clarity and separation of concerns:

  1. visit-analytics-collection.php: Manages visit logging, GDPR anonymization policies, request query param whitelists, and path/IP exclusion filters.
  2. visit-analytics-detection.php: Acts as a registry for active detection rules and their individual tuning parameters (e.g., thresholds, scores).
  3. visit-analytics-retroactive.php: Controls cron execution limits and retroactive snowball/lookback windows.

Note for Upgraders (v2.x to v3.0): This version introduces a breaking architectural rewrite. You must force-republish the new configuration suite:

Cloudflare Setup & Security

Real IP Detection

The package automatically prioritizes the CF-Connecting-IP header. No extra configuration is needed to see real visitor IPs.

Avoid Self-Banning (WAF Rules)

If you are using Cloudflare WAF, ensure your server's IP is added to the IP Access Rules in the Cloudflare Dashboard to prevent the analysis command from being blocked during DNS/Network checks.
