The module can trigger a check for updates on clients using msupdate inside of Microsoft AutoUpdate. It is disabled by default. Remarks about enabling it:

If you want to enable the module to trigger an update check every time the script is run (roughly once an hour), run the following command on the clients sudo defaults write org.munkireport.ms_office msupdate_check_enabled -bool true
