In general, it is recommended to use always a project to download your libraries. In an application normally there is more than one library needed.
Some PHP packages are not free to download and because of that hosted in private repositories.
In this case some credentials are needed to access such packages.
Please use the auth.json textarea to insert credentials, if a package is coming from a private repository.
You can look here for more information.
Some hosting areas are not accessible by a terminal or SSH. Then it is not possible to use Composer.
To use Composer is sometimes complicated. Especially for beginners.
Composer needs much resources. Sometimes they are not available on a simple webspace.
If you are using private repositories you don't need to share your credentials. You can set up everything on our site and then you provide a simple download link to your team member.
Simplify your Composer build process. Use our own command line tool to download the vendor folder as binary. This makes your build process faster and you don't need to expose your credentials for private repositories.
Informations about the package php-library-workflow
PHP Workflow
An easy and very pragmatic multistep workflow implementation with minimum requirements.
Workflow Steps
The step class is very basic and can be easily extended with what is needed from each workflow. This can be done either by using dynamic properties, or extending the Step class. The step name SHOULD be unique.
The steps are not sequential, though can be. However, when you add the steps to the workflow add them as they are logically sequenced. The logical sequence is used to calculate the overall progress of the workflow.
As in real live steps can be skipped. For example you do not need to go to the river to fetch watter, if its already waiting in a bottle.
Workflow Progress
The worflow progress is a nice feature, which allows to show the progress in a progress bar, or a pie chart. It is calculated using the sequence in which the steps are added to the workflow. For instance, if a workflow has 100 steps, and you are on the 70th step, all the steps added before are considered "completed" and the overall completion of the workflow is at 70%.
