Some PHP packages are not free to download and because of that hosted in private repositories.
In this case some credentials are needed to access such packages.
Please use the auth.json textarea to insert credentials, if a package is coming from a private repository.
You can look here for more information.
Some hosting areas are not accessible by a terminal or SSH. Then it is not possible to use Composer.
To use Composer is sometimes complicated. Especially for beginners.
Composer needs much resources. Sometimes they are not available on a simple webspace.
If you are using private repositories you don't need to share your credentials. You can set up everything on our site and then you provide a simple download link to your team member.
Simplify your Composer build process. Use our own command line tool to download the vendor folder as binary. This makes your build process faster and you don't need to expose your credentials for private repositories.
Neat log components provide a clean and expressive API to build a
PSR-3 compliant logger to suit your
needs.
Getting started
To install this package, simply issue composer on the
command line:
Logging
Creating a logger is as simple as creating an instance and invoking any of the
log methods on it:
Syslog
To send messages to the syslog, just create a Syslog instance.
Context
To provide context with your log messages, pass any data describing the context
as an associative array to the log after your message:
Filters
To manage log verbosity and omit unwanted messages you can stack the Filter
logger on top of your existing logger:
Stamps
When logging to a file, you may want to include essential information such a the
time or level of the log entry on each line. The Stamp logger does just that:
The resulting log file will look like this:
Processing
To enhance, format or alter your log output, you can use the Process logger.
This logger allows you to completely modify and rewrite the log message:
Putting it all together
When you combine these loggers you can create really neat log assemblies like this:
You can even write to multiple loggers or logger assemblies at once using
the Manifold logger:
Resilience
Neat Log components are happy to handle any type of log entry you throw at
them. This means you can use custom log levels, objects instead of strings
and even arrays without risking endless loops between your log and error
handler. It. Just. Works.
