After the download, you have to make one include require_once('vendor/autoload.php');. After that you have to import the classes with use statements.

If you use only one package a project is not needed. But if you use more then one package, without a project it is not possible to import the classes with use statements.

Host setup

Install Reverb: composer require laravel/reverb && php artisan reverb:install
Set BROADCAST_CONNECTION=reverb and REVERB_* / VITE_REVERB_* in .env
Ensure broadcasting auth routes are enabled
Import Echo helper in resources/js/bootstrap.js:

Host app must npm install laravel-echo pusher-js.

Run php artisan reverb:start alongside your app server
