Informations about the package checkout-for-whmcs

Checkout for WHMCS

Sell your WHMCS products on WordPress. This plugin puts the whole order flow on your own site, so buyers never get bounced to the WHMCS billing portal to finish paying.

It pulls live plans and pricing from the WHMCS API, renders them as a pricing grid and a one-page checkout, takes payment inline with PayPal, then creates the client and the order back in WHMCS.

Built and maintained by Tahir Almas at ICT Innovations.

Screenshots

Step 1, plans read live from WHMCS. Setup fees and billing cycles come from the product as configured.

Step 2, the optional add-ons block and social signup. Both are switched off until you configure them.

The rest of step 2 is the billing details form. Buyers who use social signup skip most of it.

These are from a live install on ictpbx.com, which you can click through yourself.

Why you'd want it

The default WHMCS cart lives on a separate domain or subdomain, usually with a different theme. Every handoff costs you conversions. This keeps the buyer on your WordPress site from the pricing table through to the receipt, and WHMCS still ends up with a real client and a real order.

What it does

Requirements

Install

Download the latest checkout-for-whmcs.zip from Releases, then in wp-admin go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin.

Updates arrive in wp-admin like any other plugin. The plugin checks this repository's releases, so you don't need a separate updater plugin installed.

With Composer:

Set it up

  1. Go to Settings, Checkout for WHMCS.
  2. WHMCS tab. Enter your WHMCS URL, API identifier and API secret. Create those in WHMCS under Setup, Staff Management, API Credentials. Hit Test Connection.
  3. Pick the product groups you want to sell, then refresh products.
  4. PayPal tab. Add your REST client ID and secret from the PayPal Developer dashboard. Leave it in sandbox until you've run a test order.
  5. Pages tab. Create two pages, one with [whmcs_checkout] and one with [whmcs_checkout_success], then point the slugs at them.
  6. Social tab, optional. Add Google, Facebook or LinkedIn app credentials to switch on one-click signup.

Your data stays yours

Every credential lives in your own WordPress options table. The plugin talks to your WHMCS server, PayPal and whichever social providers you configure, and nowhere else. It phones nothing home, and it loads no analytics of its own.
