Installation

CodeQ.Instagram is available via packagist, and compatible to the Facebook API in version 2. Add "codeq/instagram" : "~2.1" to the require section of the composer.json or run:

We use semantic-versioning so every breaking change will increase the major-version number.

Usage

  1. Create a Facebook Instagram app. Complete steps 1-4 of these Facebook instructions until and including "Step 3: Create instagram test user". As OAuth Redirect URI please use https://{YOUR_DOMAIN}.at/instagram-endpoint
  2. Set the Instagram app id as CodeQ.Instagram.appId and the app secret as CodeQ.Instagram.appSecret in your project configuration
  3. Follow https://api.instagram.com/oauth/authorize?client_id={YOUR_APP_ID}&redirect_uri=https://{YOUR_DOMAIN}/instagram-endpoint&scope=user_profile,user_media&response_type=code and run the authorization process.
