After the download, you have to make one include require_once('vendor/autoload.php');. After that you have to import the classes with use statements.

Example:
If you use only one package a project is not needed. But if you use more then one package, without a project it is not possible to import the classes with use statements.

In general, it is recommended to use always a project to download your libraries. In an application normally there is more than one library needed.
Some PHP packages are not free to download and because of that hosted in private repositories. In this case some credentials are needed to access such packages. Please use the auth.json textarea to insert credentials, if a package is coming from a private repository. You can look here for more information.

  • Composer needs much resources. Sometimes they are not available on a simple webspace.
  • If you are using private repositories you don't need to share your credentials. You can set up everything on our site and then you provide a simple download link to your team member.
  • Simplify your Composer build process. Use our own command line tool to download the vendor folder as binary. This makes your build process faster and you don't need to expose your credentials for private repositories.
Please rate this library. Is it a good library?

Informations about the package wp-register-fields

WordPress Register Fields

Add custom fields to any WordPress screen with an array, not a class hierarchy.

What it does

Adding fields to a post, a term, a user profile, quick edit or bulk edit means five different WordPress APIs, each with its own render callback, its own save handler, and its own nonce and capability dance. The field markup is the same every time; only the plumbing differs.

This takes one field definition and handles whichever plumbing applies. Values save themselves, each type sanitises appropriately, and a post field is exposed over the REST API with one flag.

Field rendering, types and sanitisation come from wp-field-kit, so a field looks and behaves the same wherever it appears.

Installation

Quick start

The same field array works on the other screens:

Validation

Mark a field 'required' => true, or give it a validate rule — email, url, numeric, integer, slug, alphanumeric, or a callable returning true, a message or a WP_Error — and it is checked on the server when the form saves. A value that fails is not stored: the field keeps what it held and the rest of the form saves. When the post, term or profile screen reloads, an error notice at the top of the metabox or section lists the messages, and each failing field shows its own beneath the control. Quick edit and bulk edit skip a failing field without a notice, since neither reloads a screen to show one.

Documentation

Every field type, the conditional-display rules, repeaters, and the full list of configuration options are documented on the docs site.
