If you use only one package a project is not needed. But if you use more then one package, without a project it is not possible to import the classes with use statements.

Description

This library provides support for WSDL XML generation and running a PHP SOAP server (with or without WSDL support). Features:

Extract WSDL definitions from PHP comments
Optimize WSDL XML (remove line breaks and tabs)
Create SOAP server with or without WSDL support (PHP SoapServer)
