Omniauth: who signs in, and by which factors, under any PHP host - the contracts (accounts, the stores of each proof, the second-factor rule, the host's small duties), the conductor (begin, then verify; the attempt, the result), the methods that need no library (password through symfony/password-hasher, sign-in link, code by e-mail, backup codes, trusted devices in scheb/2fa's cookie format), the sign-in through identity providers (Omniauth\OAuth\: state, PKCE and nonce, the linking by the provider's subject, the sign-up of an unknown identity; each provider a package of its own, omniauth/google first), PSR-14 events and Testing helpers. WebAuthn (passkeys) and one-time passwords (TOTP) are packages of their own; the Symfony and Laravel bridges live in omnibridge.

Abandoned: omniauth's sign-in through identity providers is omnisense/omniauth's own since 2026-10-23 (Omniauth\OAuth\, the same namespace and class names; each provider a package of its own, omniauth/google first).
